The orchestra will be led by Anita Naughton who also leads the Bolton Symphony Orchestra
We are pleased to welcome Connor Lyster as our guest conductor for this concert.
Connor Lyster is a British conductor and percussionist. Having gained an honours degree from the
Royal College of Music in percussion and timpani, he has since performed and recorded with
orchestras such as the BBC Symphony Orchestra and The Hallé.
Connor is currently studying with Mark Heron and Clark Rundell on the prestigious conducting
programme at the Royal Northern College of Music and has since had the opportunity to work as a
guest conductor with orchestras across the north west and north Wales such as the Stockport
Symphony Orchestra and NEW Sinfonia. Connor has worked as an assistant conductor for the BBC
Philharmonic, The Hallé and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra as well as participating in
masterclasses with the Manchester Camerata and The Hallé.
