Welcome Back

Dear Friends & Members,

I trust this finds you well. It seems so long since our last newsletter but that is perhaps due to the plethora of work going on behind the scenes since! I am delighted that live music has returned and greatly look forward to welcoming you to our exciting & eclectic season.

It has been a long time coming but we are delighted to be offering a range of recital and chamber concerts to you before Christmas. Inevitably, there will be some changes from the normal proceedings as we have a duty of care to our audiences and players alike. I trust however, this will not interfere with your experience. Throughout this newsletter you will find information on how our concerts will run, what to expect and how to engage with us in new ways.

Our new website will soon be live, we have a new social media officer and online ticket sales will soon be here!

Please come and support us if you are able, I have every confidence there is something for everyone to enjoy from Music Argentina in September to Cobalt Brass at Christmas in December.

After this difficult time, it seems community is more important than perhaps ever before. Music has strengthened us, provided comfort and been an endless support and entertainment in periods of isolation. Now that live performance has returned, why not gift a concert ticket to a loved one or friend, particularly if they have never visited the Sinfonietta before. We are opening with a varied and accessible programme and there has never been a better time for music to bring us together.

I hope you enjoy everything our wonderful Sinfonietta has to offer.

With warmest wishes,

Jay Hall

Musical Director
